The shop in Oceanside, Ca was able to diagnose my problem, which was my transmission. They serviced it as fast as they could and had my Dodge Challenger back on the road. Totally professional. They even drove me to the car rental place to rent a car. Later they picked me up after I returned the rental. Most shops won't do that.
One of the only honest and high integrity auto shops in San Diego. JJ is amazingly knowledgeable, helpful and honest. I can't thank him and the team here enough for taking care of me as a customer. I came here after another shop (Midas) used scare tactics and gave me a dishonest assessment for our vehicle. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and learned that I was about to be cheated out of 1500 for repairs that I didn't need. JJ and his team did an honest comprehensive assessment and made time to squeeze us in. They don't have shops like this anymore, this is one of the last good places. You won't regret coming here.
had a great experience with JJ at Aamco. I went in convinced my starter was failing because my ignition turnover was lagging and a test of my battery showed proper voltage. JJ could’ve sold me a new starter to the tune of $2K but found that my battery, though it had sufficient voltage according to a test, was out of date and inferior quality. A new battery solved my problem and saved me lots of money!
